Paterson Award. This award provides scholarship support to students in recognition of their academic achievements and contributions to the Department of Psychology. Awardees each receive $1,500."
Jordan Arntz, Na'Jai Wilson, Olufemi Akindumila, Francesca Wurm, and Annie Chen all received the Mortensen Academic Award. This award is an academic scholarship in the form of $1,000. The Mortensen is given in honor of Junita J. Mortensen.
Selection criteria included: a.) strength of student's academic record (Psychology) and promise b.) depth of involvement in the Psychology discipline and clarity of academic purpose c.) strength of student's personal statement, and d.) past involvement in relevant extracurricular, volunteer, research, and work activities.
