Scott Vrieze, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota, was awarded a grant of ($500,000) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
“Methods to Identify, Validate and Interpret GWAS Loci in Multi-ethnic Meta-analysis” will focus on large scale genetic datasets of multi-ethnic groups. The grant is a collaborative effort with Dr. Dajiang Liu of Penn State, who leads the overall effort. The research began on 1/21/21 and runs through 12/31/21.
