Psychology Graduate Student Interviewed by StarTribune About Events Following Floyd’s Death

Vanessa Anyanso
, a counseling psychology graduate student at the University of Minnesota, was interviewed by the StarTribune in an article titled “‘I'm in danger just living in America’: For black community, Floyd's death brings more grief and trauma.”  Anyanso discusses how she personally has been affected by the death of George Floyd.  She decided on “run supplies for the revolution”, to support protesters and organizations throughout  Minneapolis.

Anyanso is a first-year graduate student in the Department of Psychology. She is a recipient of a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship.
