NIH Grant Awarded to McGue, Iacono, and Vrieze

, PhD, regents professor, William Iacono, PhD, regents professor and Distinguished McKnight University Professor, and Scott Vrieze, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota, received funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) for their study, “Adolescent drinking and midlife outcomes: A prospective cotwin control study.” The grant runs from 4/10/21 through 3/21/22. The study investigates the impact of adolescent drinking on psychological and physical health at mid-life. Are the consequences of adolescent drinking long-lasting?
