NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Awardees

Congratulations to Finola Eileen Kane-Grade, Sarah Gillespie, and Andrea Wiglesworth for their recent NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Award. The NSF GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in STEM-related fields who are pursuing research-based masters and doctoral degrees. This is a five-year fellowship that includes three years of financial support including a stipend of $34,000 and a cost of education allowance of $12,000 to the institution. 

Kane-Grade is a graduate student in the Institute of Child Development (ICD) and is in her 2nd year studying in the developmental psychopathology and clinical science track of the Developmental Psychology Ph.D.  program. 

Gillespie is a graduate student in the Institute of Child Development (ICD) and is in her 3rd year studying in the developmental psychopathology and clinical science track of the Developmental Psychology  Ph. D. program.

Wiglesworth is a graduate student in the Department of Psychology and is in her 3rd year of study in the adult track of the Clinical Science and Psychopathology Research Ph.D. program. Wiglesworth was also awarded the Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship in 2021, following her Honorable Mention in 2020. In addition to her award for studies in her program, Wiglesworth is invited to attend the Conference of Ford Fellows, a unique and diverse national conference.
