Monica Luciana, PhD, Distinguished McKnight University Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota, has been appointed by Dean Coleman as a Starke Hathaway Endowed Chair in Clinical Psychology. This award recognizes faculty who conduct leading-edge research that is focused on the assessment and understanding of mental disorders and their underlying mechanisms. Luciana was considered for this appointment because of her research and many contributions to the Clinical Science and Psychopathology Research (CSPR) program.
